TfSE Centre of Excellence - Navigating design guidance in constrained environments

This practical, hands‑on workshop is the final session in the series and aims to equip officers and practitioners in how to apply urban street design guidance, focusing on active travel in historic and constrained environments typical of the south east. The workshop will help participants balance safety, accessibility, movement, cost and deliverability, and supports the justification of departures from guidance when necessary.  Led by Joel Hawthorn, Associate of Steer and assisted by Adrian Cole, Director of Steer.
