At Transport for the South East (TfSE) we have a vision for a better connected, more prosperous and more sustainable south east.
We bring together a partnership of 16 local authorities and represent 8.3 million residents in our region with the aim of speaking with one voice to central government about our transport priorities and the investment the south east needs.
The area we cover is shown below:
We are undertaking a refresh of our Transport Strategy which was published in 2020.
This refresh will provide a vision for our region and how this can be supported by investment in the transport network.
We want this refresh to be developed with people and places at its heart. As part of that we want to hear from you as we develop our priorities for the future, so that funding and strategy decisions are led by local knowledge.
If you want to hear more about why refreshing our Transport Strategy matters, and why we want you to be involved, you can listen to the latest TfSE Podcast.
In the coming months we will be sharing areas of our developing strategy for you to understand and comment on. Your input will help us to shape this strategy into a document which is truly reflective of the needs of people in the south east and the challenges it will need to seek to overcome.
However we first want to understand how much our existing priorities have changed in importance to you since 2020. This will guide the way in which we begin to refresh the Transport Strategy.
